Concert of Choir of Clare College Cambridge and The MPO – Malaysia Philharmonic Orchestra.
This concert features the Choir of Clare College from the University of Cambridge, UK. The Choir has an international reputation as one of the leading university choral groups in the world, and tours extensively. Its current music director, Gharam Ross, presents a programme featuring Faure’s gentle, soothing Requiem and Bernstein’s rousing Chichester Psalms. To end, we hear Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, one of the most sensational sound spectaculars ever created in a rare performance which choral ending.
